Mohamed El Amrani, is a Catalan entrepreneur, communicator and social activist, of Moroccan origin. In 2009, when he was only 17 years old, he created the Coexistence Network, a social platform that wants to revolutionize the way of understanding coexistence and social cohesion and that is committed to generating new references among young Catalan Muslims. He is also president of the Association for development cooperation AZAHARA, an entity based in Salt that drives a large network of cities, companies and people for global social transformation. As expected, in 2013 he received the Young Social Entrepreneur Award by the European University of Madrid and the International Youth Foundation, in 2014 he received the Prize of the social category of the Princess of Girona Foundation and in 2016 one of the Civic Action Awards from the Lluís Carulla Foundation. He is also a member of the Advisory Councils of the Chair of Social Responsibility of the University of Girona of Adolescents.cat and of projects against bullying of the FC Barcelona Foundation.
